I love the creative process of writing and designing learning materials in a way that resonates deeply with people. I have done this through a variety of mediums, using a range of technologies. To illustrate my skills, I mocked up a course using Articulate 360. This interactive course is designed to help family professionals cultivate empathy in their work with parents. The course expands on an article I published for the National Council on Family Relations.
Are we missing empathy?
In this article, we explore ways empathy may be affected through a direct teaching approach and how we can use reflective dialogue with parents so they can experience empathy and transfer this social-emotional learning to their parent–child interaction.
